Large -- Medium The drive from Sunnyvale, CA to our place an hour from Grants, NM, is long enough (16 hours) that we prefer to get some sleep in the middle of the drive. This time, instead of paying for a hotel, we found some BLM land near Kingston, AZ, and slept there. We pulled all the stuff out of the trailer and slept there, so that the dogs would be able to sleep in a confined space with us. Note that Taun We is sleeping in her dog bed on the right side of the picture. She's wearing a sweater I knitted for her, which contrasts more with the dog bed than she does!

Large -- Medium We had pulled in late (11:30 pm) so we didn't really know what the campsite looked like until morning. Here you can see the pretty canyon we were in, with a couple of pretty saguaro behind our vehicles.
Large -- Medium Here's a shot with no vehicles.
