After arriving in Vienna, we load our luggage on the bus.

We drive from Vienna to Salzburg. This is the typical Austrian country side the whole way. Very pretty!

We stop at a massive tour bus rest stop cafeteria for lunch. This is (I think) a kids playground outside.

We arrive at our hotel in Salzburg, and we all stand around while our baggage gets unloaded. You can see Mom at the left, and me sitting on the curb. This picture was kindly taken by Moon Sup Lee.

That evening Mom and I ventured into Old Town by ourselves. Our hotel was quite close to Old Town, we just had to go through a tunnel in the mountain to get there. When you pop out of the tunnel, there is this plaza with horse paintings and a statue. Behind, you can see the hill we walked through to get here.

We looked around some of the shops. Here is a shop where we bought postcards and a few trinkets. My wheelchair is in front. Mom kindly pushed me vast distances in it, preventing me from being in pain!

We later found out that this helicopter turned on its head was "modern art." All three countries were big on modern art. I think it is because they have so much ancient art they feel that they need to prove they are modern too.

Here we are in Mozart Platz, which as a statue of Mozart. Mozart was born here in Salzburg. (You'll see where he was born later.) Here in Mozart Platz there was a nice little internet cafe where Mom and I were able to let people know we'd made it there safely.
