The next morning I went out to get some pictures in the daylight. The sun was just rising, it was about 30 degrees F, and extremely windy. Here's the IRTF from the outside. That's where we were.
Turning around you see the Keck telescopes, the largest in the world, 10m each. Keep in mind the low light and high winds and cold -- this was the best picture I got of them.
There are lots more telescopes up there. At the extreme left you see the edge of the IRTF, and then you can see other telescopes dotting the ridge.
